Throughout this semester, I have done assignments and essays in regards to one research question – how does social media affect the development of high school teens in the U.S. While it might have seemed daunting at first, this class has allowed me to improve my writing skills and ways to go about such assignments.
Within this website, you will be able to find three tabs highlighting the major assignments of the semester, found below the header and at the very bottom of the page. Such assignments include the Source-Based essay (using rhetorical devices to analyze four sources), the Inquiry-Based essay (answering my research question and conclusions found), and the Composition in Two Genres (making two genres in response to the research question). Each tab will include the description of the assignment and the essay itself. Furthermore, tabs such as the inquiry-based essay and composition in two genres include other assignments done in preparation for those essays. To access them, just click on the assignment title where it is indicated.
As you read through each essay, you will find that they all connect despite having different requirements. For instance, the source-based essay allowed me to learn how to gather and analyze sources, which was helpful when writing the inquiry-based essay. It gave me all the information I needed and even helped to save time when picking what sources would best fit. Finally, my findings helped to compose the composition in two genres and the information that went into them. Furthermore, the source-based essay helped to compose the rationale of my genres. Each assignment helped in its own way and made completing these essays much easier.

All in all, I hope anyone reading these essays will be able to learn something in regards to the research question and how I have improved as a writer.
